@KeriLeighMerrit Before that he wanted to call me Butch but my mom didn't like the name so she named their new dog Butch and said we can't give him the same name as the dog.
@HayleyLovitt @MikeSAdams Yeah he went from being a 1st and 2nd Amendment advocate you could disagree with to just being an "own the libs" type. I considered him a mentor when I was a young conservative at UNCW and he spoke at our group several times and always made himself available.

Which is why Alexander Stephens went from the Cornerstone speech (the CSA is built on slavery and white supremacy) to almost entirely ignoring the topic in his postwar book on the causes of the war. He knew even then in the late 1860s it was a bad look.
