"Leicester's Iniesta" is enjoying his breakthrough season with his boyhood club, already establishing himself as one of their standout performers. The 22-year-old central midfielder has excellent composure and defensive positioning, and has shown good technique when carrying and operating in tight spaces.
This is his first season at League One level after loan spells at Dundee in 2024/25, and Newport County and Chesterfield last season. He introduced himself to the EFL world by scoring from inside his own half at Newport, before joining Chesterfield in January, where he continued to impress and earned a place in the League Two Team of the Season.
He did make his professional debut for Leicester at just 18 in the EFL Cup, but suffered a major setback just months later after sustaining an ACL injury.
He captained England's U18s in 2021, moved up to the U19s a year later, and most recently played for the U20s in 2024, in a 4-0 win against Germany alongside Max Alleyne, Jacob Wright, Dom Ballard and Will Lankshear.
Bizarrely, a 19-year-old Samuel Charles Braybrooke went viral in Mexico in 2023 after Premier League documentation mistakenly had him down as eligible to play for the Mexico national team, despite being born and bred in Wigston.
Leicester City have five first-team players in the final year of their contract at the football club. Sammy Braybrooke the most eye-catching name.
With the window closed, the priority has to be getting the midfielder tied down. #LCFC

Braybrooke looked brilliant just looking at these goals. Turning effortless, whipping crosses in and scoring a free-kick.
