Nice start to the day. Taxi doesn't show. Whole family in the car for rush to station. Stress! Let down by the mobility system.

Irony 1 if train 4 mins later I get a refund, 2 if I caught train 30 mins lata I would have been back 30 mins earlier!

Back into Lancaster. Now in a traffic jam due to roadworks! More disruption.

Now another train is broken in front, and all the later trains are passing by each side of us! Pragmatism is beginning to break down!

So the announcement says we will make up the lost time en route, and then we stop and go nowhere for 20 mins. hope I can remain pragmatic!

Well I guess 15 minutes later arrival at 22:15 on a Friday is a good result for the Brighton-Lancs jourbey; and I got a seat (unlike some)!
