@WbaSteve Dont disagree, but not checking your shoulder is a major thing for a full back against any winger, he tried to let the ball go for a goal kick without once checking where his man was. That can’t happen at any level. Other than that he was solid.
@cplusnumbers True but also worth noting that 4 of those draws came against Ipswich, Millwall, Southampton and Wrexham, all good sides, when we were in the middle of a relegation scrap 1 was away at Sheff Utd when we were literally at our lowest and then Blackburn away which was just shite.
@AndyfromNewHamp Always been a nonsensical argument that there’s no pathway at West Brom. Academy players who are deemed good enough are frequently given a chance. Field, Harper, Edwards, Ferguson, O’Shea, Palmer, Gardner-Hickman, Fellows, Whitwell, Griffiths, Bostock, Williams.
@Geordiebaggie@RobbieSavage8 Loans are a vital part of development. Fellows was nowhere neat physically, went on loan cam back and was ready to be integrated. Whitwell was similar. Playing mens football week in week out is better than the occasional 10 - 20 mins ever few games.
Looks like Clement spent this week researching which countries use VAR rather than preparing #ncfc for their game. Bold strategy, terrible outcome #wba
Nonsensical points deduction from the EFL last season due to a retrospective rule changes and now this shambles from the FA. Plus the retrospective action against Gayle and Asante. Any guise of impartiality is dead. There is clearly some sort of bias against us. #wba
West Brom need to turn into super grass this season. Push the FA for retrospective bans for every instance of diving and handball that isn’t punished in game. Force them to uphold this nonsense precedent they’ve set at our expense yet again. #wba
@NateDog47941021@Tgarratt10 You haven’t because this is the first time they’ve actually implemented it, like you barely ever see any on retrospectively banned for diving but both Gayle and Asante were for us. They are selective on who they punish based on the team involved.
@ConorMcGilligxn Most incredible thing his Makama wasn’t suspended for the same thing last season where the same laws were in play. This is clear and irrefutable evidence of thr FA only implementing laws in certain instances against certain clubs. It’s corruption plain as day.
@greenandrewqfqr@WBATheInsideMan Why? Because his dad was good for us 20 years ago? He’s had 3 championship loans and has barely made an impact in in any of them.
@wba_charl@NickWBA1993 Also look at Rabby, first suggestion of interest was about an hour before we announced it yet the first contact was 3 weeks prior. The club will be doing everything to keep deals as quiet as possible to limit the risk of us being gazumped.
@wba_charl@NickWBA1993 They will be working on deals concurrently just deals will he at different stages, and generally when concrete news comes out about player it generally means either a deal is close or an agent is doing their job.
