Mrs. Kohler’s Unified Art Class created their version of Edvard Munch’s “The Scream”. Students used water color colored pencils to draw a bridge, water, & sunset and beautifully blended the colors with water. The final touch was a photo of themselves reenacting the scream face.

Several #DAHS students participated in the York Community Art Scholars Exhibit (YCASE) where, if selected, their work can earn them a $20,000 scholarship to York College. Twenty of the works were selected by a blind jury process for the county wide finalist exhibition.

PE class has roller skates.

Instead of "specials", art, music, pe, and library are called "essentials". Big fan. The arts, movement, and humanities are indeed essential.
