the biggest thing i’ve learned in crypto (and poker actually) is that it is a complete waste of time to focus on what “should be happening” rather than focusing on what is actually happening
I woke up the last couple days feeling really low. Feeling a lack of peace with the way things played out on Wednesday. In fact, feeling unhappy with my words online on several occasions over the past year plus.
I’ve received a bunch of heartfelt messages over the past couple days, many offering supportive words along the lines of “keep fighting the good fight.” But the notes that affected me most were from friends I respect who told me the opposite: “You gotta stop rolling in the mud with these people. This is not who you are and there is no winning here.”
They are exactly right. The truth is, as much as I’ve tried to convince myself otherwise, I’m still angry.
I’m angry at the group who allegedly cheated me. I’m angry at the other group who tried to destroy my reputation the moment I suggested I was cheated to protect their business. I’m angry at people, most of whom I’ve never met, that thought they knew everything there was to know about me based on the way I handled an impossible situation. I’m angry these people think I’m a bad guy, an attack that hurts above all others for me. And most of all, I’m angry with myself for not being stronger—for letting all the above affect my quality of life to such a large extent for such a long time.
It’s time to let to go of the anger. I’ve never claimed to be a hero in all this, far from it. But I can and will be better moving forward.
I’ll catch you all soon for more poker and less drama.

The Concept of Future Game in Tournament Poker 📈
An experienced fighter would try to leverage his skill, technique, and experience to avoid close combat, chaos, and any unnecessary risk and potentially face a lucky punch.
He doesn't mind going over multiple rounds to take advantage of his superior skill.
The less experienced fighter would stand 0 chance if the fight goes long distance, but could stand a chance if he can pull the professional fighter down to his level and land a lucky punch.
That's what many of you guys do in Tournament Poker. Not being aware of your skill advantage, getting involved in dumb hero calls and bluffing spots, punting away your stack for stupid GTO plays, and not understanding the importance of Future Game.
The longer you play against a weaker opponent, the higher your chances of winning. And this means trading slightly high variance +EV spots for higher future gains.
This requires being able to manage your EGO. It is a superpower. A superpower many of you lack.
Playing 1 hand vs a weaker opponent, luck will determine.
If you play hundreds or thousands of hands vs. the same opponent, the odds will shift in your favor, but only if you leverage your long-term advantage.
We're just starting the ACOP €3 feeder satellite, awarding tickets to the ACOP €30 Final satellite, taking place on Wednesdays and Sundays! Qualification is exclusively through @GGPokerUK!

Find the hate on @berkey11 so bizarre.
- Runs the best poker podcast bringing up issues in the community and makes sure they get the right amount of coverage they deserve
- Gets called out at super high stakes HU challenge, accepts it, studies hard, crushes it
- Endured borderline bullying on videos that have received million+ views, still shows up high stakes poker sandwiched inbetween Nik & Doug with his own money and does well
- Plays daily higher stakes than 99.9999% of people who criticise him. Growing up everybody wanted to eventually play in bobbys room, he’s there every day.
- Has been in poker for 20?+ years and played every single stake, very relatable journey for many
- Has helped younger people in the game like Melissa, Landon etc have a platform and obviously helps all around him
- Posts daily health/fitness stuff and puts himself out there
Doesn’t stay silent for money. Supports professionals & amateur best interests, gives us somewhere to listen to most important topics in poker. Maybe he speaks with authority on topics that he isn’t an expert in, but isn’t that what we all do every day? That makes him more relatable. You don’t have to agree with every word he says, but he’s a good guy, relatable, helps those around him, plays loose/splashy/fun to watch and brings up issues in poker to make it a more safe space for us all.
