Gr.2-3 class used pine cones, wow butter and bird seed to create bird feeders. They then went on a nature walk to pick the perfect place to hang them and also searched for interesting things in nature to take pics of to write about in class. #TMOASDN @asdnnb @stemnorth
K-1 students and Take Me Outside Day! On Thursday for Math they practiced making patterns with chalk and Friday they went on an alphabet search. They found the letters hidden around the playground, put in abc order and decoded and spelt CVC words! #TMOASDN @asdnnb @stemnorth
K-1 friends were visited again by Elder Roseanne. This month she taught them about the Beaver and his teaching of wisdom. They also sang some First Nation songs and participated in a smudging ceremony. @asdnnb @poppasweez
Thanks to the amazing donation from Chaleur Eat Fresh and Audrey Ronalds, Ms. Amanda & the JRS Mindfulness Club packed 107 bags of produce, so that every student in our school could go home with a bag. The rest is being donated local seniors & local food bank! @asdnnb

K-1 students have been having fun learning about the Winter Olympics, the sports and the athletes who have won medals! They even participated in some Olympic competitions of our own, complete with medal ceremonies. @asdnnb #TigerPride

K-1 students spent most of their day outside for Take Me Outside Day. They were outside from 10:30 - 2:00, only going inside for lunch! They had recess, outdoor gym, made patterns with chalk, practiced their numbers and watched a pumpkin explode! @asdnnb #TMOASDN#TigerPride
Mr. McGee’s Gr 6-7 students were making paper mache masks for a class project and turned them into memorial pieces for the 215 bodies found at the former residential school in Kamloops, BC. @asdnnb @poppasweez
