@alanshearer It bounced - so it’s a half volley- a volley is striking the ball before it bounces - exactly the same as in tennis - when a ball bounces in tennis and you hit it you don’t call it a volley do you ?

@LFC A volley as I understand it is a hit without the ball touching the ground and so a half volley is when the ball hits the ground, whether it’s rising or falling once it’s hit the ground it’s a half volley

@WhatGoingDowney D, Once again the hype is just that, changed D coach yet the same couldn’t stop the run or short passes I hope it’s early days and they improve but having a kicker that ‘never misses’ missed, O was slow and predictable i wonder what is the point of preseason when no starters play
