@DanielVavra Ya I love watching the anti-AI luddites foam at the mouth and attack devs who are suspected of using AI, but at the same time they've purchased tons of content that was generated with the help of AI and just don't know it yet. It's hilarious to watch and I hope it all comes out.
@Pirat_Nation The funny part is the general slop gamer who only plays GTA and NBA will buy this either way. Now they can play another "follow the yellow line or it's game over" Rockstar game with outdated gameplay that chugs along at 30FPS with no disc for $100. They deserve the humiliation.
@Kate_JRayner@GearsofWar@CoalitionGears I knew it was a really bad sign when I saw that new comments were locked ahead of time. Decided to reply here.
I saw the gameplay and I'm nervous that Gears is going to bomb now. I'm not even trying to be a jerk, I just think you need to understand who the main audience is?
@Grummz I basically stopped being surprised about this stuff years ago. This garbage infects and destroys most devs after they become successful. It was Warhorse last time and now it's SHIFT UP's turn. I was a day one buyer of their next game, but now I'm going in with a LOT of caution.
@Jeromebenz Just so we're on the same page, anyone whose role has a "focus on DE&I"... they have a fake job. Glad you deleted that slop.
Just leave their games alone and don't be like 99% of other communications people who fight gamers and destroy the dev's image. That's all I ask, please.
@Awk20000 I like @asmongold, but he's the problem here. Where were all of the clips on YouTube in the last 2 weeks that were taken from his Kick streams?
Oh, that's right...He gives Twitch all of the power. He does nothing and patiently waits to return to the GARBAGE site that bans him.
@GameSpot When I was playing OG God of War, if you told me that a new God of War game coming in ~2027 would have a talking Reddit cube there's no chance I would have believed you.
If Laufey was called Forspoken 2 it would sell 30 copies and the dev would shut down a month after release.
@Wario64 Not saying it's not possible that something happens to them, but I didn't believe the current rumor only because it involved Christopher Dring. I don't listen to a single word that guy has to say about anything.
@Grummz The funniest part is that Rockstar is one of the most overrated developers of all time and people gobble it all up.
Follow the yellow line for 20 minutes. If you leave the yellow line you get a game over screen LOL. 🤣🤣🤣 And people love that stuff. It's wild.
@Pirat_Nation For more information, see their ESG page. For anyone who thinks they put these characters in the game to add to the realism, I have a bridge to sell you:

@QUEENP572@Pirat_Nation The representation doesn't bother me. I just hate being lied to.
Anyone who think they put these characters in out of the goodness of their hearts or to enhance realism is just believing a straight up lie.
These companies advertise their ESG strategy for ALL of us to see.
@Pirat_Nation I don't have a problem with representation. I just think it's funny when companies lie.
The director put them there for funding. He didn't just add these people to flesh out the world. No one believes that.
Didn't even notice or care when I played, but I just think it's funny.
@GamesRadar Everyone should remember, these gaming journalists are QUICKLY dying. Traffic is way down. So now they just rage bait people into replying in order to stay afloat.
Mute them and move on. Muting this account now so that I practice what I preach.
@Pirat_Nation This is a lie. They just don't want to take the heat from remaking RE5 because of garbage websites like IGN.
What's funny is that those sites are losing so much power, so it would be in the dev's best interest to ignore them and remake 5, which I know a lot people want.
@AI_EmeraldApple I can't even imagine The Witcher 4's budget at this point. It must be astronomical. Watching CDPR tap dance for ESG funds is actually embarrassing at this point. Every other dev moved on this year, but they must need lots and LOTS of money for TW4.
@Grummz If CDPR doesn't do this they don't get the dark money to fund their game. It's just part of the dance. CDPR hands over their dignity and self respect and in turn they get the hundreds of millions of dollars needed to create The Witcher 4. We've seen this over and over again.
@CDPROJEKTRED All of comments are mad, but CDPR needs that humiliation money to fund The Witcher 4. Modern day devs are so dumb that they think games need to have budgets of half a billion dollars to succeed, which leads to them handing over their dignity and tap dancing for the dark $$$.
@CDPROJEKTRED Out of every current developer forced to go through the humiliation ritual for funds, CDPR is probably #1 on that list. Other devs gave up this year and moved on, but CDPR is fully committed to sticking with the ritual. The Witcher 4 must be costing an astronomical amount of $$$.
@SmashJT Unfortunately this was the end of Compulsion for me. They blatantly shoved a 1984-style comment in everyone's face like it was normal? This was one of the the most mask off and weirdest tweets I've seen on here from a professional company.

Many video games are a product of the times they were created in. As we look to recreate & remaster these stories for modern audiences, it's important to consider the implications of these harmful portrayals and do our part to rewrite new history, not repeat it.
We applaud our peers at @CrystalDynamics for their reflections and corrections 👏🏽
