Won Stratty 106.
Only posting about it to shout out @kaaku1027.
It’s good to have a fellow Pikachu friend in London to talk to and learn from.
Watch out for him if he decides to travel to anything this year. He’s going to get some good wins. Trust me.

PR was revealed yesterday, so I’m very late, but I just love seeing Pikachu on graphics like this.
Never been ranked in London before either, so the sight of him is even nicer.
He’s so cute, I swear.
4th at Smash Mania.
It’s cool to go to a regional on your birthday, perform like this, and mostly importantly, drop 0 games to Snake!
Something, something, “I should travel more”. I know, stop telling me.
Also, Owl is beyond insane. Got fully humbled.

Won Meltdown.
First time in a while that I’ve felt that I’ve played rather well all day, and got the edgeguards exactly when I needed them.
I’m a happy man.

Really happy with how it went, especially with the Adivian mentoring backing me up. However, how is my bracket today going to be Snake > Kazuya > Snake > MK > Kazuya?
Regardless, I learned a great deal today. Avalon next month for sure

Holding up bracket with 4 very slow game 3 situations in a row, is very funny in hindsight.
No wonder people complain about me so much. Hopefully someone teaches me how to play faster somehow. That would be nice knowledge to have.

3rd at CA
Just noticed something funny: Been back in London for a week, been to 3 events, and all 6 sets that I have lost have been 2-0 or 3-0 shut outs. That’s rather glaring!
Regardless, it’s good to be back. Finally get to go to a proper MD tomorrow!

First local back, made a few upsets, and the “Edgeguard” tag actually did work for me. Not sure why I stopped using it when I went to NW.
None of that stops DS from farming me and everyone else, though. London has seemingly not changed.

Didn’t qualify for the DSS finale yesterday, and kind of got my arse kicked in qualification. London is far better than I remember it being.
Hopefully, I can grow and move through my admittedly glaring weaknesses gradually. It’s good to be back here.

Finally heading back home to London tomorrow after a year of being missing in NW, and DSS is conveniently running on the day after.
Let’s see if I can qualify for an invitational that I only got reminded about by asking if CA is running or not this week:

5th at OutSpaced 3. I Didn’t play well.
However, this really is the best venue in the country. Adding to everything else that clears other venues, they have a giant bar-side sports stream.
I watched my goat Son miss a clear 1v1 that could have won Arsenal the league, but still.
