I was hoping for 4 more years, but you took the exit strategy early. This is a bit late, but caught Adam’s eulogy while still on vacation, came out of nowhere and was a total buzzkill to sit through.
Thanks for opening my mind with all the books you recommended. Read most of them, plenty of them twice. Gonna miss you, Dvorak, the squeaky chair, pet peeves, the wine recommendations, and damn, I was still waiting on that vinegar book.
You were the OG. There will never be another one, and you were right - life is a scam. RIP JCD. 🕊️
☀️ Midsummer Catch-Up
Hey everyone! Summer’s rolling right along and the World Cup is already halfway through. Portugal is out but they played with heart but still loving the tournament energy and for the games I miss, keeping up with the recaps 🙌
Been keeping things simple on my end: cheap tablet holding up like a champ, experimenting a little in the kitchen, and just enjoying these warm July days. Fantasy football season is creeping up too and I’m lowkey excited for it (yes, still a Cowboys fan for those questioning) 🏈😉
That’s about it for now. Wishing everybody a fantastic Friday and weekend, peace and good times always 🌊❤️
URGENT: The driver hauling this Military device needs to come inside immediately. For customer safety, we need the tarp removed to test the tip for residue and insure it isn't capable of a sudden discharge.
You are not permitted to pull out until our tactical team physically handles the payload. Thank you.
It’s funny because I remember all of us thinking about @kiss being so old on the reunion tour in 1996. How would they do it ? They were in their 40’s… ha.
Our gas price sign has glitched this morning and is displaying random letters. The message in no way reflects our opinion of our customers.
We have chosen to leave the message for now as customers have told us it is less offensive than our actual gas prices.
Tool hope to release a new album and put on a residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere in 2027: “I think we’re the perfect band for that” https://t.co/stJhvYEzwM
Alex Honnold says he "mostly listened to Tool" on his record-breaking live skyscraper climb:
"It was mostly Tool. It’s just like a random playlist that I made, that I shared with production. I made it months ago while I was driving. I’ve been training to it a bunch. Basically rock music that I’ve liked my whole life. Part of the appeal of music is that actually it helps me with pacing. Each bamboo box had been taking me about five to six and a half minutes. I just know how long the songs are. So it gives you it gives you a sense of if you’re going fast or slow. But in this case, it all kept cutting out anyway, and I couldn’t really hear and I was kind of like, 'whatever. I’m just doing my thing.'"

✨ Good morning everybody! It’s been a while since I last posted. Hope you all had a wonderful New Year. As for me, I stayed home and called it a night right after the ball dropped in Times Square. Nothing wild, and honestly, it felt perfect.
January’s been pretty quiet so far, but in a good way. I’ve been spending more time outside enjoying these mild temps, more hiking, wandering around, and checking out cool old mines and random spots along the way.
I finally started watching Stranger Things (always late to the party, I know 😅) and I’m deep into Season 4 right now. I’ve also been slowly getting back into filming more photos and video, easing into it, finding the rhythm, and letting things come together naturally.
And I just wanted to say thank you to those who send likes and comments on my posts, I really enjoy reading them, and it means more than you know. 🥰 And for anyone braving this cold snap, I feel for you, stay warm, spring isn’t too far off. 🌺
🦃 Thanksgiving Wrap-Up & Christmas Kick-Off 🎄
Hey everyone, finally popping back on here after a long break. I spent Thanksgiving visiting family and helped out in the kitchen with duck, Cornish game hens, spiral ham, the turkey, plus most of the sides, basically a full-on feast. Busy, but the fun kind. 😅
Once everything was served and cleaned up, I grabbed a chair and watched the Cowboys vs. Chiefs. The day after Thanksgiving I binged Landman - watched a couple episodes from Season 2, but now I’m trying to wait for the rest to come out so I can binge the other half. 🤭
The leftovers are long gone, so it’s officially Christmas season. And with the new year only a few weeks away, I’m hoping to carry a little momentum into January. Sending love and a little holiday shine your way. 🕊️🎁❄️
👉 Little summer Catch-Up ☀️🌵🐟
☀️ Hey everyone! Summer’s been hot - not quite as brutal as last year, but close enough. I’ve been keeping cool where I can and experimenting in the kitchen. Tried an online organic meat provider for the first time - 100% grass-fed and pasture-raised, shipped with dry ice. My box bounced around the West Coast like a ping pong ball, and I thought for sure it would spoil in 115F+ heat… but it arrived solid. I was skeptical, but the meat and fish were so good I almost forgot what real bacon and salmon taste like. 🐟🥓
☕ On the simple side, I’ve been making homemade iced coffee, way better (and cheaper) than Starbucks. Out here a latte runs close to $10, so DIY feels like a small win. And mason jars? I’m hooked - bought another set, ditched all cups and even replaced my wine glasses with jars. They’re way tougher, great for leftovers and my zip-loc bags have been lasting forever since I hardly use them anymore. 🫙
🏈 Fantasy football season is here, and I’m crossing my fingers I do better than last year. As for my Cowboys… yeah, it’s rough being a fan these days, but I’ve followed them forever, can’t back out now! Last night I started watching “America’s Team” on Netflix and learned a ton of backstory I never knew. A lot of it was way before my time, but it gave me a new appreciation for the team - ups, downs, and everything in between. And hey, I know plenty of you have a love/hate thing with them, so it’s ok to send a few arrows in the comments (just keep it friendly 😉).
That’s about it for now. Wishing you all a great start to the season - peace and love, always. 🕊️❤️
Rest in peace, Ozzy Osbourne.
The Prince of Darkness told PLAYBOY in October 2005: "When I do go, I don't want there to be morbid fucking crying people. I want people to celebrate my life. Get me in the ground as soon as you can. You can cry all you want, but I ain't coming back. I don't think there are any fucking return tickets."
