I genuinely don't understand why everyone insists on using a Ledger or hardware wallets?

Why not just buy an old iPhone or Samsung, install OKX Wallet or trust andtransfer your funds, switch the phone off, and lock it in a fucking vault?

Whenever you want to move funds, take it out, turn it on, make your transaction, and put it back.

Sure, Ledger offers better private-key isolation, especially when signing transactions. I get that.

But if your phone is switched off, disconnected from everything, and sitting in a vault 99.9% of the time, what exactly are you protecting yourself from?
