So happy for the world to see #LostBoysandFairies I cried my eyes out at the cast and crew screening from about 15 minutes in. This is a landmark in the telling of queer stories from the beautiful heart of @Dafydd__James A very special thing to be a part of. ♥️
@olvskn0503@Madonna Yes ! The gems hidden through the story of the concert just keep coming. When she was singing Everybody in clubs, Blondie would have been at their peak and of course an inspiration for her
Sunak is installing 74 Special Economic Zones (SEZs) all over the UK.
48 in England
18 in Scotland
8 in Wales
The zones are publicly funded with State Aid under WTO rules, (Brexit allows the UK Govt to give public money to corporations of their choosing, this is illegal in the EU because it distorts markets and give corporations a competitive advantage chosen by the Govt.
Brexit means SEZs can be ‘free of Big Govt interference because the zones are ring-fenced enclaves separate from the host country.
UK SEZs set their own deregulated laws that allow corporations to make 100% profits without contributing anything back to local communities. They are tax exempt for 10 years.
Powerful words from the wonderful David Tennant on why he's supporting our campaign to renationalise the NHS!!

@AvantiWestCoast It was indeed Sam - the coffee machine was working but no hot water for tea. Not the end of the world but also wouldn’t have thought too hard to solve with a back-up kettle…
@AvantiWestCoast Hi Avanti, gasping for a cuppa tea on the train from a london Euston to Glasgow Central. Was told by fairly uninterested employee - only coffee today . When I inquired further, there was no hot water for tea. I’ve never heard of this happening ever on a train.
When I suggested heating the water in the microwave, he just said “ I’ve never heard of that before.” (and therefore wouldn’t do it ) There was just a general lack of interest in helping, finding a solution or sense of customer care / hospitality . Sad days for train travel !
SAG LA Vice President Michelle Hurd explains that “you know those actors when you go ‘oh there’s that guy from that show’, you don’t necessarily know their names… those actors are working class actors who are literally working paycheck to paycheck.”
