Alright, I know y'all have been waiting on this and the wait is almost over. I'm going to write a series of tweets on my thoughts on Fast 9 and the F&F series as a whole tomorrow night. It will be my masterpiece on this forsaken app.
So Mike Johnson and many republicans are against banning Members of Congress from trading stocks because inflation makes their salary less valuable.
Here’s an idea: if $174k a year isn’t enough for you, then resign and let someone who is willing to work the job do it.
There are plenty of young people who would be willing to give up stock trading for that salary. And they would actually get stuff done.
And if $174k isn’t enough for people to take care of their family, then how the hell is minimum wage?
This isn’t meant to come off as a knock to CE.
I’m a Christian - and a basketball player. 90% of the NBA is openly Christian. What I find maddening in all this is Christians online twisting the story into “Ivey got waived because he is a Christian.” That’s just a false statement and you’re pushing drama even further.
There are guys that proclaim their faith all over the NBA - it’s a shared faith. There are pre-game Chapel services in EVERY arena where guys come together to worship. There are post-game prayer communities that are visible to fans and cameras.
This isn’t an intolerance issue by the NBA. Far from it. The league wants guys to proclaim what they believe.
With that; You will be fired in ANY job where you become a workplace nightmare. If you continually disrupt the peace and happiness of your colleagues, you will be held accountable. It’s as simple as that.
JD Vance: "If you're in Minneapolis, and you have a person who came to the US impoverished two months ago and all of the sudden they're driving a Mercedes or a Lamborghini, it is your job as a public official to ask how did that person get so rich so quickly when they're also collecting a welfare check."
I am always fascinated by people who place the burden of survival on everyday civilians, rather than the armed officers pulling up to their communities unannounced in unmarked vehicles and masks
Here’s the lesson in the future.. MAKE YOUR FTs. If Pop Isaacs shoots to make that FT then the worst that could happen was a tie. Instead we sweated it out because we wanted to try and game the system.
Absolute INSANE ending in Auburn. Tigers with a desperation heave at the buzzer to win 91-90... at least that's what the score read during my sportscast.
Refs review and call it off. Texas A&M holds on 90-88. The Aggies got back in this thanks to an 11-0 run in 28 seconds
This is the product of American individualism. Some people are just incapable of understanding that it takes a society and the people in it to function together.
Just paid the property tax on the 10 acres I own FREE & CLEAR and I can't describe the amount of rage I feel inside.
Property tax should end when you own the land.
Period.
When the whole story comes out, anyone making comments like this should be removed from positions like this. This is not a partisan issue, so if you’re trying to make it one, you’re part of the problem.
Scott Jennings on Epstein files: “We should call it the Clinton files, not the Epstein files. This is a story about Democrats and Bill Clinton and it's always been that way
Timothée Chalamet on his approach for marketing ‘MARTY SUPREME’:
“People's attention spans are so short these days... How do you convince them to go to the cinema, to spend money to see a film, rather than waiting to stream it illegally, or for it to be available on Netflix?… I have an audience, so I engage with them, and I give it 150%”

@NotaBurnerr007 Why would dems move to another state that directly opposes the worldview they have? The migration is repubs leaving to an area that more largely agrees. If you live inside Dallas, Austin or Houston, those areas are not getting bluer from migration.
@EthicalHoopz This type of incidental contact happens frequently in a game that requires 10 grown men to run around each other. Calling this seems ridiculous.
