This story is actually insane. The police picked up a 16 yr old girl that was kidnapped by Omar (the guy Shiloh Hendrix insulted) and his brother at a gas station. They raped her for two days. She was found "sleep-deprived, dehydrated, and had not eaten recently" according to the nurse that examined her.

They found her glasses in their trailer. She identified them perfectly in a lineup.

Then, in the middle of the case, prosecutors discretely dropped charges with no explanation and no oversight. "In the interest of justice," they said.

This was just one month before the Shiloh Hendrix incident. During the Shiloh Hendrix trial, we find out that Omar's son, who is actually 9 even though it was claimed he was 5, already wears a ankle monitor because his father lets him wander off and steal things. As is expected, the father has faced no consequences for this.

In Minnesota, a single word is worse than kidnapping and raping a young girl. Two Somalian men abducted a young, vulnerable girl, then were shielded by the government and faced zero consequences. Personally, I think the charges were dropped to avoid their deportation.

On the flip side, a productive member of society gets probation, a jail sentence, and 200 hours of community service over a single word, with no violence involved in any way.

We can't live like this. We can't live in a country where foreigners are above the law, yet get to twist the law into a weapon against productive American citizens.

Look, the Pop Tarts bowl seems like a fun way for some 7-5 or 8-4 team to end their season. And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t find the postgame antics entertaining.

But to ask a team that was led along for a month straight only to be screwed over on the final day to play in a meme game that’s more about Pop Tarts than football, on the same network that screwed them over in the first place, is insanely disrespectful and Notre Dame has every right to not want to be a part of it.

When selecting the 12 best teams, the question is simple — who’s better right now? Statistically, the two teams are close in several areas, but Miami’s two losses to unranked teams make this comparison incomparable.

Notre Dame’s resume is stronger, cleaner, and more reflective of a team deserving a spot.

The thought Alabama wouldn't drop with a SEC title game loss seems accepted as fact.

So why is there an assumption BYU would automatically drop with a Big 12 title game loss? They'd be 11-2 with both loss against a top 4 seed.

I will never understand the hate Notre Dame receives from college football fans, particularly those chanting “join a conference!!”.

The Big 10 and SEC are completely bastardizing the sport with national super conferences, slowly turning college football into a reskinned version of the NFL (along with zero NIL rules/enforcement).

Notre Dame is the one premier college football brand actually trying to preserve tradition in the sport and all people do is whine about it.
