@Numonestunna06@MrAndyNgo Nope, the US Flag Code does not include laws against desecration as it would violate our First Amendment Rights. Desecrating a flag that represents a minority group can be charged as a hate crime, dependent upon the local jurisdiction. As we can see, NYC clearly punishes for it.
@HarleyThiel @PattonPresident @MrAndyNgo As far as stars & stripes go, there’s a US Flag Code telling you the rules of how to fly it, what to do if it hits the ground, how to dispose of it (burn it or bury it), etc. As far as desecrating the US flag, it’s legal bk making it illegal would go against our 1st amendment.
