Are you ready for an impact bond? These are the 5 questions you need to ask yourself. If answer to any of these is no, our research suggests you’ll struggle. My article in @apoliticalco:

@BBCr4today can you please do a ‘spoiler alert’ before announcing GB medals in Olympics? No one’s watching it live as it’s so early, so it really spoils watching it on catch-up if you already know all the results
@YorkshireWater I *really* like that you explain how my bill is broken down. However, it feels misleading to have a graphic that isn’t proportionate - I.e. the portion of the cup that is taken up with ‘running our business’ is nowhere near 44%
@marksandspencer instead of focusing on Colin/Cuthbert can I suggest you focus on the gender stereotypes in yours kids clothes? My daughter hates pink & really not impressed with your overly-pink shoe selection
@camperbugz I can’t find a ‘Contact Us’ on your website but I have made a payment to book a campervan and it has come out of my account twice. Please can we sort? Thanks
Thoughtful article from @dralecfraser & Clare Fitzgerald responding to our SIBs report for @DCMS, arguing that our call for greater transparency in the SIB world is the most important recommendation in the report https://t.co/X465qGzJtW
@amylame it has to be Beat Goes On. I will allow the remix (by The All Seeing I) but the original (by Buddy Rich) is definitely better. The singer is only 12 1/2! This will help me get through a house clear-out before moving. James from York
@British_Airways thanks to the air steward on delayed 14:05 BRU-LHR flight, who went out of way to help me make my LBA connection. Please tell him I made it and I’m grateful!
@NJ_Davies Very pleased to see this level of engagement on what I think (obviously!) is an important report. DM me if you’d like to meet for a coffee to discuss further
@davidsocialsp@NJ_Davies 3. The point isn’t just about rebranding but also reframing - taking a broader view as to when SIbs should be used vis-a-vis other forms of OBC or other contracting approaches more generally. which I think speaks to your (and Nick Davies’) points
@davidsocialsp@NJ_Davies I’m assuming you’re talking about me here ;)
Yes you’re broadly right (that the research Q was *how* to scale and replicate SIBs, not whether we *should*, and that changes who you interview) but worth highlighting that:
@davidsocialsp@NJ_Davies 2. the case studies focused on areas where they had been successfully scaled, and where they hadn’t. Both sets of research picked up criticisms and concerns around SIBs, which I think/hope are reflected in the report, but...
@davidsocialsp@NJ_Davies 1. the evidence assessment included reports and blogs to capture a broad set of opinions, including critics (both you and Toby Lowe are referenced)
