This voice message was sent by a citizen inside Iran to a family member, revealing part of the regime’s crimes.
He says he personally witnessed the killing of civilians in Tehran. He also reports from Babol that regime forces carried out violent attacks against people there. Quoting an eyewitness, he describes how security forces pushed a massive crowd from both sides into a single street, trapping people so tightly that escape was impossible. The scene was chillingly reminiscent of the Mina tragedy in Saudi Arabia.
Despite this deadly crowding, regime forces opened fire on the trapped civilians.

Cool to see my picture of the Windsor Hanukkah menorah lighting used as the featured image by the Canadian Jewish News. @TheCJN

My Globe and Mail opinion piece on the attack this week at our local “kosher Loblaws.” It is now being investigated as a hate motivated crime. I reflect on what it now means to go grocery shopping while Jewish in Canada in 2025.

Kind of Blue is regarded by many as a true masterpiece, the greatest jazz album ever recorded, and one of the best albums of all time…
But what made the album so extraordinary?

A Cosplay in 3 acts:
1) Say you support two proscribed terrorist groups on stage.
2) Incite murder against British MPs on stage.
3) Deny meaning any of those things as soon as the legal ramifications for public incitement to terrorism & murder become clear.
