@ArnettRick For the life of me I can’t understand why this tournament gets more traction for tier one over Colonial. It has bounced around from course to to course and rarely produces significant golf. Colonial has so much history on a classic course.
@A_S12@wbuxtonofficial@IndyCar@Arlington_GP@SBJ The crazy thing on the merch is that there was very little in the Rangers/Texas Live side of the event. The main Indy 500 merch tent was by Cowboys stadium. Sales will definitely increase in the future with additional points of sale.
@Hinchtown It went great. There are always some tweaks after the first race. With that said, as a long time IndyCar fan, it was great to see so many new fans at the race. The place was packed and vibe was amazing
@indycarpodcast@Arlington_GP Solid 9. The race was great. Surprised by the lack of yellows. The fan experience was great for the first year. They need to add the same level of fan experience outside of Rangers Stadium/Texas Live as they have by the Death Star. More merch and bridges to cross over the track
@junior_miller Exactly. We had the ‘Fire Nico’ moment with the Mavs but we just ‘shrug our shoulders’ with Jerry. It has been 30 years. 30 years to prove he just doesn’t have the skills to be the GM. Great business man, but incompetent as the GM. At some point the fan base has to stand up
