The Arhtiya community is socially and financially interlinked with farmers. If one gets weakened, the other is also affected.
🔸The govt decision to cap the Arhtiya commission on wheat and paddy at 1.5% (from the 2.5% commission given during Badal Sahab’s regime) has severely impacted the livelihood of Arhtiyas.
🔸Once the @Akali_Dal_ forms the government in 2027, we will endeavour to raise the commission to 2.5%.
🔸We are also committed to modernizing the Khanna grain market, which is Asia’s largest grain market, by bringing it up to international standards.
