When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. - 1 Corinthians 13:11

SUNTAY INSISTS NO MALICE IN ‘NAG-INIT’ REMARK VS ANNE CURTIS BUT ADMITS POOR ANALOGY
On #ANCHeadstart, anchor Karen Davila dissected Quezon City 4th District Rep. Bong Suntay's controversial remarks during impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte.
Suntay said there was no malice in the statements he made about actress Anne Curtis, following criticism from the public.
He added that his remarks were taken out of context, admitting that he could have used a better analogy in defending Duterte over her comments about killing President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Life is simpler with a sincere apology. It shows humility, maturity and respect for the people you serve. It also exhibits wisdom.
A non-apology apology makes it an insult to women everywhere.
@ABSCBNNews
The analogy wasn’t malicious said the person who made the remark. But the impact was clear..it made people, most especially women feel disgusted and disrespected.
If that kind of analogy was used to make a point it clearly reveals the mindset of the person who said it.
That’s not something we should normalize.
Ito ang problema ng maraming mambabatas.
Hindi nila alam ang batas. Our lawmakers are the law breakers.
Mula sa Bawal Bastos Law hanggang sa Anti-Plunder Act o Anti-Graft & Corrupt Practices Act. Kaya bastos na, ang marami - magnanakaw pa.
Rep. Bong Suntay to Anne Curtis: That analogy was not meant maliciously… It may have been in bad taste for some. I apologize kung mayroon tayong sensitivities na tinamaan, but that was not the intention.
“It was an analogy”
“It MAY have been in bad taste”
“I apologize KUNG”
Words matter. Your choice of words are showing your true colors and intention.
Please consider being quiet. Not an apology. Do better.
