Starting June 18, 2024, Mozambique transitioned its #HPV vaccine program for 9-year-old girls from two doses to a single dose. This decision was based on scientific evidence indicating that one dose provides strong protection.

The second round of the Routine #Immunization catch-up took place yesterday until June 23rd, in 74 districts of seven province. The aim is to recover zero dose and underimmunized #children, who missed routine vaccine doses over the last five years.

Today, the 11th round of the polio vaccination campaign was launched and will run until Saturday, June 1st. The initiative aims to reach approximately 8,693,106 children aged 0 to 15 in 45 districts across the provinces of Zambezia, Tete, Cabo Delgado, and Niassa.
