BREAKING: House Republicans launch unhinged threat to keep Trump out of prison, announce that they will hold America hostage and shut down the federal government unless Congress agrees to bring and end to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s cases against Trump.

But it gets WORSE…

The Republican “Freedom Caucus” also shameless called criminal Donald Trump a “law-abiding citizen” — even though he has four massive indictments against him (and growing) — and a total of 91 criminal charges against him.

Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has lost control of his caucus, and now his Republicans have decided to hold America ransom unless Trump is allowed to get off the hook for his serial criminality. The “party of law-and-order” is now launching a political insurgency in order to keep their favorite criminal out of prison.

This should strike fear in the heart of EVERY American who gives a damn about our struggling democracy. Republicans have sold their soul to the devil — and are now trying to install Trump as king — American democracy be damned.
