Under the Aspirational Blocks Programme, the Future Skills & AI Innovation Lab established in Gohparu Block, Shahdol district, Madhya Pradesh, under NITI Aayog’s Innovation Project, is equipping young minds from rural, urban, and tribal communities with future-ready digital skills.

The Lab currently supports nearly 350 students, including 108 students from Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs), through hands-on learning in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Robotics, IoT, Coding, Data Analytics, Generative AI, Digital Literacy, and Computational Thinking.

Beyond technical training, the initiative is fostering innovation, design thinking, and problem-solving by enabling students to develop AI-driven solutions for real-world challenges in agriculture, healthcare, education, environmental sustainability, and rural development.

By bringing emerging technologies to one of India’s Aspirational Blocks, the initiative is empowering youth to become future innovators and technology leaders, contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
