Late finish last night getting trees into position (almost). Brilliant teamwork all day especially from @hallfarmasparagus on the night shift. Beautiful box head pleached Carpinus betulus supplied by @majestictrees1

Lovely to see the bees buzzing around the comfrey this morning. Florence nonplussed. (pic 2) Comfrey is not only fantastic for bumblebees it also makes an excellent, if smelly, organic fertiliser, high in potassium thanks to its tap roots

These little beauties caught my eye yesterday on a glorious sunny spring day. Ribes sanguineum ‘White Icicle’ in flower in March which seems early, especially in N Norfolk. This flowering currant will grow to 1.5m high, 1.5m wide and likes full sun
