One of the greatest deceptions of our time is the false narrative that we should be more concerned about a poor person misusing the welfare system or an immigrant being here illegally than we are about cruel people having unprecedented wealth and power over all of us.
Have now received the SAME “Your reservation is confirmed” text from @Airbnb 175 times and counting. Talked to support twice, turned off SMS, still coming.
@dbkahn@erica_wenger Have enjoyed the burger/chicken there but never knew there was a burrito available! Will have to try to see how it stacks up against my current fave (Great White)

"Dr. Fauci walked through the fire with us, and his friendships with AIDS activists deepened with time, bound by a shared trauma," writes Peter Staley, an early member of the AIDS activist group ACT UP. https://t.co/zqOHm2Fnub
@nickgraynews@Supertanker2020 I review it in the hotel app as I grab my bag. Then just leave the key in the room on the desk, tap “checkout” on the app and go
@oneunderscore__ I know you’re a straight news reporter but my brain did not compute things like “Kanye is talking to a prop he brought” / “he’s wearing a mask that covers his whole face”… I thought maybe it was a bit. But this clip? Yikes
@edyang73@eliottkessas@ankurnagpal NerdWallet says Chase has 11 and AmEx has 17. JetBlue is actually in both albeit at a slightly worse exchange rate for AmEx (1.25:1 vs 1:1) https://t.co/wWkKAXzVA4
@eliottkessas@ankurnagpal Curious — much better in what sense? I have had Sapphire Reserve for years, just got AmEx Biz Plat and…not sure I’ll keep it? By volume I fly AA, United*, Southwest*, and think Hyatt* has some of the best exchange value per point. 3 of those (*) are Chase-only transfer partners.
@jstrauss@hunterwalk@JoelWish@CBarlerin@Climate_AF Tbh the last time I did one of these “support a group of candidates” donations with ActBlue I got on ALL their mailing lists and am STILL getting hit up all the time. Until there’s a very clear “don’t e-mail me” option I won’t be making that mistake again.
