Following the report of the attack on hikers in Samaria: dozens of Arabs arrived in vehicles alongside foreign far left activists for a provocation under the cover of the olive harvest and attacked a group of Jewish hikers on an ATV tour between the Jewish communities of Yitzhar and Givat Ronen with clubs and stones.

Three Jewish hikers suffered injuries and were treated at the scene.

Following the images published by AFP photographer Hazem Bader from the scene of the attack, security officials suspect that he may have known about the attack in advance.

The photographer claims he was on his way to a demonstration in Beit Jala and happened upon the scene during the attack. The IDF is expected to examine his account.

During an olive “harvest” near the Arab village of Deir Abu Mash’al in the Binyamin Region, foreign far left activists are attempting to provoke incidents.
As documented here, there are only two Arab olive pickers, accompanied by around ten foreign activists with cameras.

The two terrorists who carried out this morning’s serious attack in Hebron were Firas Ja’aba and Hamouda Ja’aba, both 27, married, and fathers of two children each.

Hamas welcomed the attack and issued a statement calling for full mobilization and an escalation of terrorism against soldiers and Israeli residents.

Arab social media in Judea and Samaria has been flooded with expressions of joy and praise following this morning’s deadly attack in the Hebron area.

Various channels are sharing old videos of senior Hamas leader Saleh al-Arouri, who was killed by the IDF early in the war.

In a video shared by “Jenin News,” the city’s largest page with 300K followers, al-Arouri says: “We call on our young people and our heroes throughout the West Bank: this is your day. Young people, heroes, fight with every possible weapon, with great fury, using every means available to you.”

The communities of Har Hebron and Judea and Samaria are the defensive wall of the State of Israel. We must not accept a reality in which our residents become targets on their way to work, school, and their daily routines. It is time to abandon the policy of containment and isolated responses.

The response to terrorism must be offensive and uncompromising: broad operations to clear terrorist strongholds, closing roads leading to hostile villages, large-scale weapons collection, and the immediate strengthening of Jewish communities. Those who seek to drive us out will find us far more firmly rooted and stronger than ever. We will not bow our heads or abandon our residents’ security.”

A shooting attack took place this morning at 7:14 a.m. at Yehuda Junction in the Hebron Hills, leaving five people wounded, including two in critical condition.

Ofer Ohana, a medic who was himself seriously wounded in a terror attack in Hebron several years ago, was among the first to arrive at the scene to treat the wounded.

Two Arab terrorists were eliminated.
