welp.
my thanks to @erinfordc, @sabelharris, @ggwash, @dcyimbys, and everyone else who helped out or donated, and of course everyone who voted for me.
I look forward to continuing to work with folks in 1B + across DC for safer streets, more housing, & more responsive agencies.
@wmata This doesn't really answer the question, though — what route are the buses taking between Rhode Island and NH Aves, and are they making stops along the way?
If someone rides the bus south from Silver Spring, can they get off at Columbia or at U St, or do they have to transfer?
Reminder that if you live in DC, you can vote at _any_ polling place in the District, in any Ward.
And if you aren't registered, you can even do that today, too!
(Resident non-citizens can even vote in local races incl. Council and ANCs!)
If you’re looking for a complete list of General Election Day Vote Centers I’ve got you covered! Click the link below to access a full list of voting centers in the District.
Happy Voting!

Friendly nudge: In the midst of presidential election hoopla, don’t forget to read up on & vote for local positions. Mayors, city councilors, county supervisors are the key deciders on building housing, fixing roads & sidewalks, investing in neighborhood parks & schools.
Pedal to the polls with Capital Bikeshare and use code 'VOTE24' in the app for 50% off (up to $10) on your ride. 🚲💨
Pro Tip: Add the code to your account before Nov. 5, and it will magically auto-apply on Election Day! *Terms apply.
TBH I'm kinda glad I'm not on Threads or Nextdoor or w/e this is to find out what nonsense Alan is making up about me, too.
But I'm glad to support, and to have had support from, Chair Harris, and I encourage those who live in 1B08 to write her in to continue as Commissioner.
Less than a week after I reported the broken-up handrails on this temporary curb ramp required for the construction closure on the 1300 block of Euclid St NW, they've been replaced.
Thanks to @DDOTDC PSI and @CrescentSocial for the quick work!

#WiderSidewalks4U Street have been a long time coming (over 10 years!), and I'm looking forward to working with Matthew & neighbors to finally make them happen.
Both the U Street Bus priority project and the U Street streetscape project are perfect opportunities to improve our sidewalks and I’ll advocate for this as Commissioner
Despite being one of our most important pedestrian corridors, U Street’s sidewalks are notoriously narrow and hard to navigate. Improving our sidewalks is key to making sure U Street is a vibrant, safe neighborhood
