Just wanted to put this out there that I know so many incredibly talented unagented writers.
Whether you have an agent or not, your words matter. They are important. They are needed.
Keep writing.

If an agent asks a question about a character's portrayal (and expresses reservations), and requests a full, and you answer their question and attach the manuscript, but receive no reply, does that mean the agent is reading it or that they didn't like your answer? #amquerying
A query letter shouldn't tell me things I already know, like that you're seeking representation (I know, lol), or quote lines from my wishlist. Instead, tell me what's intriguing about your project. Show your enthusiasm. Explain what will resonate with readers and me. #querytip
Today's shout out is for all the authors who are not quite "cool" enough, not quite "in" enough. You don't need those friends who've snubbed you. The things you value are real & important. You inspire me. Keep writing. xx 💕
A shout out to all the authors who are not bestselling, not award-winning, not six-figures. You are needed, wanted, valued. Your books are someone's favourite. You inspire me. Please keep writing.💕

our hearts have been captured by Janine Mikosza’s lyrical and stylistically gorgeous memoir, Homesickness.
Investigating her own trauma through memory, Janine revisits the fourteen homes she lived in before she was eighteen. Publishing in May 2022. #publishingannoucement
I'm thrilled to announce my new novel THE BOOK OF FORM AND EMPTINESS will be out in the world later this month, on 9/21/21. For more information and pre-orders: https://t.co/CclY7HC7sH
So important to think about ambiguous losses and what they mean in our lives, particularly around our writing. So much of this rang true to me. Thank you, Danielle Lazarin.

When I read the latest Ishiguro, I liked it, and liked it, and then wasn't sure if I liked it, and then I LOVED it. I tried to think about why in this essay here. Chock full of spoilers just FYI.
So many books sound incredibly thrilling in this list! I'm most excited about @ozekiland's The Book of Form and Emptiness. I loved A Tale for the Time Being and this one sounds like it has a similarly enthralling main character.

How have I not heard of The Chrysalids by John Wyndham? With a voice that pulls you in and a concept that keeps unfolding, the story was quite original. I was surprised to learn the pub date was 1955. Are there other books of his you'd recommend? #dystopia#BookRecommendations
