Devastated the voice, the man, the legend Mikey T sadly passed away yesterday, many are called Mr Wimbledon, but none more than Mikey earned the right. Over 2000 consecutive Wimbledon games, I'll leave you with my favourite commentary of his sharing the emotion of all of us #AFCW

Throwback to when Ronan Curtis hit a last minute winner for Wimbledon against MK Dons in 2024. Look at those limbs. 👀

@AFCWimbledon Unfortunate with injuries last season but definitely a player there. Showed great pace and composure at times and of course scored that vital goal away at Wigan. Go well Antwoine!

[James Scoltock @JScolly_88]

@WHADmedia @WomblesDream The ref was absolutely atrocious, we did well to overcome him and Wigan. Fortunate they weren’t more clinical with their chances, they had plenty of them, but hopefully a nice confidence boost for our lads! Some real positives for us, Nkeng and Mcneilly really made a difference.

@TRSafcw @AFCWimbledon My program was non existent by the end of the match 😂

[James Scoltock @JScolly_88]

@WomblesDream Can only be that we believe his compo value will be higher if he plays regularly and is successful. If that’s more likely to be at the level below than with us and it enables us to bring in an established starter at CB or ST then I’ll be okay with it.

[James Scoltock @JScolly_88]

@AFCWimbledon That is really poor but totally expected with our negativity and sloppiness today.

[James Scoltock @JScolly_88]

@AFCWimbledon We are SO back!

[James Scoltock @JScolly_88]

@ConorHDaly @WomblesDream Agreed on the fee, but hopefully we can use the borehamwood lad’s fee as justification for it being closer to the top end of 6 figures.

[James Scoltock @JScolly_88]

@WHADmedia @WomblesDream Pleased we made it through, that needs to be a warning to the boys and to the club though. We need to be better if we’re to compete in league 1 this season and we definitely need reinforcements at the back and up top still.

[James Scoltock @JScolly_88]

@WomblesDream We’re fortunate he got injured as the form he was in when fit might have taken him beyond our reach and attracted interest from others. As it is, as long as he’s fit and over it all then I’m very pleased to have him back!

[AFC Wimbledon @AFCWimbledon]

He's coming home! 7️⃣

AFC Wimbledon are pleased to announce that James Tilley has rejoined the Dons on a three-year contract, for an undisclosed fee from Wycombe Wanderers ✍️

@WomblesDream My assumption was that they’ve just been holding back so as not to get lost in the noise of the World Cup. Expecting things to dial up a bit over the next couple of weeks.

[James Scoltock @JScolly_88]

@WomblesDream Pleased he’s signed, would have been happier if it were 2 years or a year with an option, but equally he could have chosen not to sign for us at all, so will absolutely take this!
