We used to have players we know and loved, could get behind… bennet, conway, smallwood, Cairney, arma, mulgrew just to name a few, more recently even sammie, trav, anyone from the lg1 squad gets into this squad today, bunch of shit brought in for pennies, hes rinsed our club dry

@mattieshaw97 @_ElliottJackson yeah i get that, eustace would want to buy someone for £5m at 28-31yrs to then either let go or sell for pennies at a later date etc, JDT had the indian pay blocks in place etc so that explains at least some of the lack of spending despite the wharton money he’d have wanted

@ShaunPendlebur2 @_ElliottJackson szmodics and wharton alone brought in more money in their own than what we sold this summer, as someone else mentioned i’d forgotten about the indian pay blocks we had during their times which would explain at least some of it
