@JeffPassan While I hate it for the impact on players in general. I love it for what it would do for college baseball. Colleges have real fans, no one is a hardcore, dedicated fan of a minor league team.
@Thurmanator26@TomPelissero They did but the big 12 was about to sanction Texas tech. The courts said the ncaa couldn't punish the kid but never said the school couldn't be punished.
@cody__cubs I think what he's doing this year is much more sustainable than the first half of last year. It's just too bad so many of the other guys in the lineup have run into an offensive brick wall.
@MartydnAZ@JoeTessESPN@espn@UFLgame Just cause they were sold by the box office doesn't mean they were sold by the resellers. Still counts as a sellout if that's the case.
@RadCarlsbad23@cody__cubs The part about the drafting not being horrible but not great is my biggest issue. It's like every "prospect" we bring up anymore is just a mediocre, average at best big leaguer. I'd rather be terrible for 5 years and load up with potential stars than be mediocre year after year.
@cody__cubs Jed, Carter, Craig, get rid of the whole damn thing. Craig is completely uninspiring as a manager and obviously the brewers success had absolutely nothing to do with him. Jed and Carter can't build a damn team (and I'm not just talking about spending money, but also the system).
