They could just as easily allowed the player to get the OPTIONAL thing as part of the base 70$. They do not have to charge money for something already in the base game.

The problem is not the fact that you need an item in the game to do it, it is the fact they have the audacity to try to charge people money to do it earlier. It should be the norm calling out these MTX.

If they know there are players that want it to be more available make it available to them without charging them more money. I didn’t realize that was a hard concept.

@Dansgaming Charging extra to make something to save time is predatory AF and I mean that for any game be it infinite wealth, AC, or DD2. Even if it is “easy” to get in game why have the MTX at all then besides to trick people into thinking they need to pay real money for it.

@Dansgaming I have a problem with the “it is easy to get the item in game” narrative honestly. I don’t care how easy it is to get an item in the game. If they are going to charge me real money for it after charging AAA prices then the item could have been a cheat code or a setting change.

@StomboyYUFFIE @tha_rami Because AAA games are made by large and diverse groups of people and are played by wide diverse groups of people. It isn’t only straight mostly white men like it used to be so you are seeing a wider range of characters being created.
