@ZeroFeminine No no, Microid S is unassuming. Devilman is very upfront about itself
But, they both happen to have a more light-hearted anime version of their respective darker manga
Why did noone tell me that Osamu Tezuka's Microid S is more or less his version of Go Nagai's Devilman?
The manga looks so unassuming. But then it turns out to be way darker than you'd think.
This might be the most insane thing I could say to some who know better, but after reading Osamu Tezuka's Barbara and Diletta, a part of me is legit confused about whether Tezuka thought art should be political...
On the one hand, he almost seems against it, but on the other...
@sprstrwbrrysoda Yet another interesting Tezuka manga that's never gotten much attention (at least in english)
Well, my work is far from over, but one day I hope to educate the people about his many many works
@oXYqJxKWcP3Hn74 I think that's normal. There's nothing wrong with trying to emulate a formula you like. Sometimes it can even inspire good things.
I was just really surprised at how dark Microid S was.

Ok then, Osamu Tezuka's Record of the Glass Castle gets the award for "most abrupt ending"
I mean, it just stops. It doesn't have a rushed ending. It has no ending.
Hey, so, I've got a buddy who's written a book. They haven't sold many copies, and I'm trying to help spread the word a bit. Maybe sell an extra copy or two.
I haven't had the time to read it myself yet, but maybe one of you will like it? Give it a look.

I'm finishing up my Osamu Tezuka Shoujo Works video script. I've currently decided to briefly talk about some of his adult works with female protagonists (that might change).
Anyways, what are your interpretations on Book of Human Insects? Like, what's the main message?

Alright. I've recorded the audio for 100 Youtube shorts (and the eventual video that's just all of them more or less stitched together)
Now to edit 100 bits of audio... Then edit 100 tiny videos... And one big longer one... This is gonna be tedious.
Idea for a really stupid video: Top 10 questions I would ask Osamu Tezuka if I could raise him from the dead, or summon his ghost or whatever...
Not sure if this is the new "most dumb" video idea I've had though
Well, I'm growing closer and closer to the goal of reading every Osamu Tezuka manga. Pretty soon, there will only be the one I've left for last. You gotta save the best for last, right?
So, what IS the best Phoenix part? I may be finding out soon?
