At the start of this week, we got information about suspicious activities at a house in Nameere-Kawempe North. Neighbors say they've seen Electoral Commission Spokesperson Julius Mucunguzi frequenting this house in the past few days.
We went to establish what could be happening at the house, and found some UPDF officers in uniform, and other masked people in plain clothes. As soon as we got in, we noticed they were plucking number plates off vehicles in the compound, since vehicles normally used for electoral malpractice tend to have concealed number plates or none at all.

Present at the house were Lwanga Charles-RDC Nansana Municipality, Sembalirwa Hassan-Deputy RDC Luuka, among other criminal elements.
When we told them we had information that they were pre-ticking ballot papers for the Kawempe North by-election, they roughed up everybody, badly beating up Stephen Kibwika (NTV Journalist) and took away his camera and hit our vehicles as we left. We went to report this matter to Kawempe Police Station, but the officers there dragged their feet, not showing interest in going to the house or to even record statements from us, so we left after about an hour without being attended to.

We understand the regime through Robinah Nabbanja is trying to rig the election in Kawempe North, but they need to beware. This drama will not be accepted.
