Lots of bees coming to the mossy edges on my pond. I’m guessing they are taking on water.

Had my first dragonfly action of the year on my pond at work today. A pair of mating Common Blue Damselflies and a newly hatched Broad Bodied Chaser. Its wings were very droopy but in this picture have started to become more shaped.

I heard a Cuckoo calling in the Port Clarence area at about 1115 this morning. Not sure of exact location but I heard it from the allotments and it seemed to be coming from the River Tees direction. @teesbirds1

@whiterosegreen @teesbirds1 @SLArchive It’s on the single buoy to the right of the pier at the side of the pier station. Wasn’t a great shot because the mist was coming in. It did give some good flypasts but again, light was my enemy.
