Working hard on the making of a hide on my nature garden at work. Managed to get a photo today of two fledgling Greenfinches begging for food from an adult.

Had my first dragonfly action of the year on my pond at work today. A pair of mating Common Blue Damselflies and a newly hatched Broad Bodied Chaser. Its wings were very droopy but in this picture have started to become more shaped.

@JohnnyTheNic Enjoying The Teesside Twist, as I have enjoyed all of your previous ones. I have a small grumble though. Chapter 9 mentions Crossbeck Way in Ormsby (I used to deliver papers there in the 70s) it should be Ormesby not Ormsby.
I heard a Cuckoo calling in the Port Clarence area at about 1115 this morning. Not sure of exact location but I heard it from the allotments and it seemed to be coming from the River Tees direction. @teesbirds1
@whiterosegreen@teesbirds1@SLArchive Itโs on the single buoy to the right of the pier at the side of the pier station. Wasnโt a great shot because the mist was coming in. It did give some good flypasts but again, light was my enemy.
Picture 1 is a Brown Booby that I took in Ascension Island in 2014. Picture 2 is also a Brown Booby but incredibly, taken today on the River Tees near Middlesbrough. @teesbirds1@SLArchive
