****Guys I don't know why this needs to be said, but please don't lie about your camp results online and tag Coaches, you don't need social media glorification. If you had a bad day move on and have a good outing your next Camp but lying about your results. It's just gonna make a Coach completely take you off the board and also say bad things to other coaches.
🚨 State Qualifier🚨
Congratulations to our boys 4x400m relay for qualifying for the OHSAA Division 2 state championship this weekend! They will run their prelims on Saturday at 5:05pm.
Great job, boys!!!
We stopped disciplining children and started diagnosing them.
Now we have a society full of adults who think everything is someone else's fault.
Tell me I'm wrong!
Winning isn’t luck. It’s commitment.
1. Attitude
2. Mindset
3. Work ethic
4. Team play
5. Accountability
When a team buys into these 5 commitments, winning becomes the standard.
Great teams don’t make excuses. They make adjustments.
No…
“Yeah, but the refs…” “Yeah, but they’re more talented…” “Yeah, but we were tired…”
Accountability starts when the excuses stop.
Mass-marketed speed & agility does not develop “speed & agility”.
The garbage you see on turf, grass, & sand all over the country are random bouts of directionless, non-transferable conditioning, designed (shoddily thrown together) to make kids tired..
And..
Tired ≠ better.
🚨ATHLETES🚨
If your season has ended….
TAKE THE TIME OFF!
Shoot take a month.
Come back out of shape.
But come back recovered.
If you’ve been going since winter your body is begging for a recharge.
Friends, family, finish school.
Chill!
The bar is so insanely low that if you work out 3x a week and stop eating like a moron, you’ll end up looking and feeling superior to almost everyone you know.
Nick Saban: "Everybody's smart that goes to medical school. But everybody doesn't make it through… It's the same kind of thing with athletes. Some of 'em have great talent but they don't have the right psychological disposition."
Mindset Matters.
