Billionaires don’t have bank accounts like you and me. They have art collections, Yachts,Mansions,Stocks. None of it gets taxed until they sell it. So they just never sell it. They borrow against it instead. Live off the loans. Pay almost nothing. Then when they die, their kids inherit it all tax-free. The wealth never gets taxed, It just gets passed down. And we wonder why the gap keeps getting wider.
My dad retired at 59

He had a pension. I have a 401k I can barely fund.
He bought his house at 28.
I can't touch a down payment at 30.

At dinner he told me I need to be smarter with money.

Didn't tell him my generation is paying for his Social Security while ours gets gutted.
Didn't tell him the ladder he climbed got pulled up right after him.

Make it make sense
Creating content has been a very positive outlet for me even as I’m going through a really tough time personally. Even if no one watches what I create, I’m having fun. There is this weird sense of freedom that I find myself chasing in doing this and I intend to keep going.
I absolutely take being overly trendy as a character flaw, it tells me you’re easily spoon fed BS and overconsume. First it was Stanley’s, then it was Labubus, then it was Wicked, then it was Matcha, then it was Pilates, then it was Totes, then it was Needohs,then-
