A dangerous, five-time convicted felon is off the streets thanks to the quick actions of our deputies.
On August 13, 2026, #teamHCSO located a suspect wanted for domestic violence offenses, including threatening a victim and directly pointing a firearm at her, near the 1500 block of West Brandon Boulevard. Deputies tried to stop his vehicle, but he fled at high speed.
Our Aviation Unit tracked Tyrome Huff Jr., 21, while ground units deployed stop sticks. The vehicle went into a ditch, and Huff fled on foot before being arrested. A firearm was recovered.
Huff is a five-time convicted felon. He is charged with: two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Domestic Battery by Strangulation, two counts of Violation of a Domestic Violence Injunction, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Fleeing to Elude High Speed, and Felon in Possession of Ammunition.
