My wife showed me something last night that made my stomach drop.
A friend of hers. Marriage on the rocks. Showed me the reels this woman was watching.
Every. Single. One. Telling her to leave.
"If he wanted to, he would."
"You're not asking for too much."
"Choosing yourself isn't selfish."
She didn't search for this. The algorithm clustered it after one pause during a weak moment.
One pause. And now she's building a case against her husband in her head.
The feed is the lion. And it's patient.
Your grandfather didn't compete with an audience voting on whether she should stay.
I wrote about what's happening and what to do about it. Link below.
@RetaSpeaks@charise_lee That’s what he was sayin. If your tired then wait til your 50+ years in🤷🏾♂️ Americans thought it was sweet but when you give “higher ups” power to violate constitutional rights when it came to POC, you seem to forget that you next🤣 and now you got half the man power😴
She’s up before the sun, setting out fresh eggs and warm baked goods at her little roadside farm stand.
No cashier. No cameras. No supervision.
Just a handwritten price list, a notebook to log what you take, and a lockbox for payment.
An honor system in a world that doesn’t always feel very honorable.
I love the simplicity of this and would love to try it myself — but it makes you wonder…
Would people be honest? Or is this kind of trust too rare these days?
