Courtland Sutton talked about what it's like watching his teammates have success.
It's a long quote, but worth it.
"To see them be able to capitalize, and their dreams manifest and we’re also winning, it’s the best thing that you can ask for. To see the joy on their faces, and to see the joy on the team’s faces in the locker room when we’re dancing and celebrating a win, there’s nothing that you can trade. There isn’t a touchdown that I could score or there isn’t a catch that I could make that will trump being able to see my teammates be able to go out there and have that success, and to go out there and fulfill their dreams and fulfill the dreams of the team. It’s so fun to be able to watch my guys go out there and see the joy that they have scoring touchdowns and capitalizing on the opportunities that they get to be able to help the team be successful. At the end of the day, [when] the Broncos win, I’m happy. I’m cheesing ear to ear.”
I talked about this on #JetsClass: The #Jets, genuinely, are among the most talented teams in the NFL. They have that on the offensive, defensive side of the ball.
When they play teams that they are wildly more talented than, they will win: See Titans, Patriots games.
But coaching, scheming makes a difference when talent is even. The #Vikings match the Jets on paper. It's on the staff to put the players in a position to separate themselves and win.
Offensively, that is not happening. As I said this week: I thought we'd find out a lot about the direction the Jets are going against Vikings, Bills, Texans. Feared Vance Joseph may have foreshadowed what was to come.
There is still a lot of time, but this doesn't look great.
