Artesia baseball coach, Jackson Bickel, will finish out the year before resigning and becoming the assistant principal at Artesia High School next year. The job will post after the baseball season ends.

Artesia. basketball coach Michael Mondragon resigns and will become the principal at Roselawn Elementary School next year.
“After praying about it,” Mondragon said. “I want to spend time with my family and watch them grow up and coach them.”

Travis Hunter caught a 17-yard TD pass from Shedeur Sanders with no time left on the clock to force overtime 34-34. In overtime Eagles quarterback Davius Richard scored a 1-yard TD. NC Central leads 41-34

Latrell Collier rushed up the middle for a 2-yard touchdown and then ran a Philly Special 2-point conversion good, to give the Eagles a 34-27 lead with 4:31 to play in the game. In the play JSU's Jeremiah Brown was ejected from the game after taking a punch at a Eagles player

JSU's Travis Hunter caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from Shedeur Sanders to give the Tigers a 27-26 lead with 11:25 to play in the game.

Sanders sacked and lost 15 yards making it third and 17 at the Eagles 17-yard line with 11:33 to play in the game.
