بر سرِدارِمؤدت جب وفا رائج ہوئی

یا نبی فوز علی کی شان کے قائل ہوئے
یا حسین ابنِ علی تیری ادا رائج ہوئی

سرکٹےتو شان سے افلاک کی جانب گرے
اوج سجدے کی یہاں کیسی بھلا رائج ہوئی

کیا مناظر دیکھتے ہیں عرش پہ لوح و قلم
جب نبی کے خون سے کرب و بلا رائج ہوئی

سر نگوں ہر سُو غلافِ کعبہ و قرآن تھے
جس گھڑی بنتِ پیمبر کی ردا رائج ہوئی

اِک طرف نوحہ کناں تھےاک طرف کلمہ کناں
خود بتا اہلِ فلک میں کیا صدا رائج ہوئی

جس طرف مرکوز محوِ ذکر تھےخود قبلتین
سمت کیسی اس گھڑی میں کربلا رائج ہوئی

خطبہءبنتِ نبی یا خطبہءبنتِ علی
سمت براز بنتینِ مصطفیٰ رائج ہوئی

ثبت ہے ایسے دِلِ زریاب پہ ماہ حسینّ
مستقل جیسے تخیل پہ وفا رائج ہوئی

اور انشاء اللہ کامیاب ہوں گا مرنے سے قبل، تاکہ اُوپر جا کر منہ دکھا سکوں۔

کہ ' محرم ' کے مہینے کا نام، ' حسین (ع) ' رکھ دیا جائے۔

دعاؤں کا طلبگار رہوں گا کہ مالک یہ شرف عنایت کرے۔ اور جس کی سمجھ میں یہ بات آجائے، وہ اِس بات کا trend شروع کرے،
