@kambrice1tv Because their ownership has not been inclined to sign their own young players. See Harper, Turner, Soto. Would rather get something back if they know they don’t want to pay.
@SleeperNats It may not ever happen. And he may never be a superstar and only a back-up defensive outfielder BUT he’s a good guy and teammate and a winning team would love a guy like this on their bench.
@Boomskie Lock em out for 2 years period. Without having to pay salaries over this period, they won't lose as revenue as you imagine. The owners should legitimately negotiate in good faith and if the players don't accept.

@MarinerMuse Read Bryce Harper’s comments over the weekend. Last year he threw Manfred out of Phillies’ clubhouse and proclaimed there was no way they would ever agree to a cap. Over the weekend, he said he was against the cap but would go along with what the majority wants.
