Adding to my previous commentary... it turns out that Blizzard did nothing wrong.

After the California DFEH filed a lawsuit, Jason leaned on it HARD.

It was all a grift by Jason to sell his books and chase clout, while those actions got innocent people fired from the company, changed the company culture, and turned WoW gay. Had that not happened, Asmongold would have never become the political commentary behemoth he is today.

The whole Cosby Suite thing was complete nonsense, just jokes and off-color humor that led to people getting fired.

The whole systemic frat boy culture and widespread sexual harassment was never proven. None of the logs, reports, and evidence even hinted at it. Even the claims that Bobby Kotick ignored and tolerated were complete BS. The state withdrew the harassment claims, and the $54 million was for alleged pay-promotion gaps... not for the sexual harassment.

Then all the other things like the stolen breast milk, the harassment that drove a woman to suicide, etc were never proven. It was just all part of the grift theater to drive the media frenzy.

At the end... the only thing that's 'real' is just things like microaggressions, an undercurrent of sexism... pretty much everyday BS, crude jokes, and humor you would expect gamers to make on a day-to-day basis.

This whole drama robbed us gamers of what OG Blizzard used to be like. Now they are a gay hugbox infiltrated by sexual harassment conscious Karens that has made their recent games less edgy, more rainbows, and more "representation".

A few bad actors did get punished, but it wasn't the company as a whole. This whole thing was designed to target the male-centric games, the game companies, and gamers in general. It didn't just affect Blizzard; it affected pretty much all the Western AAA studios who were afraid of similar lawsuits hitting them, which many have now run themselves into the ground through the heavy-handed DEI.

Jason lied about the SA in Blizzard to sell his books.

It got devs fired.

Cosby Suite, Breast Milk, were all lies.

And so many believed because if you didn't you would be ruined too for "not listening to women."

But it was actually men like Jason with dollar signs and grift in their eyes that told the tall stories for a cheap buck.

Even Jason Schrier admits in his latest book that the Cosby Suite was a fake nothingburger and Kotaku was full of shit.

But the damage was done, and many great Blizz devs had, in some cases, 20+ year careers ruined since nobody wanted to hire "problematic" devs (when it was all fake). Heartbreaking and infuriating.
