We are not sure what the future of Just the Pill is, but we want to make others aware of what workers are going through and provide some information on the decisions taken that led us here.
As of January 17, 2025
Just the Pill board and leadership made the decision to lay off most of the workers involved in patient care, including clinicians
The only ones involved in this process are managerial positions, consultants, and Meg Sasse Stern, a pseudo manager with no direct patient service experience.
Everyone laid off was part of a team of experienced abortion workers treated poorly and misled for months. Among those laid off are single mothers, chronically ill, all the trans & non-binary staff.

Increasing restrictions on reproductive care inflict a significant physical and mental burden that ripples across generations—especially for people of color

REMINDER: $1 pregnancy tests are just as accurate as $20 pregnancy tests! They are literally the same ones you would receive at a doctor’s office! And it’s extremely rare to get a false positive, so you really don’t need to take 7 to confirm.
Don’t overpay to pee on something!!!
