Amidst the protests and movement to fight racial bias and police brutality that coincides with it, quite a few people are saying things like "I don't understand how rioting will change anything" and the more toxic, "all lives matter."

The effort put forth by state and national government to silence voices of change should offend anyone with a shred of empathy. Police violence against peaceful protestors is the most un-American thing I have witnessed in my time on this earth. Fight for your freedom.
