I’m sick of seeing Americans bang on about being ‘number 1 in every other sport’ when its literally not hard to be number 1 when you’re the ONLY country who plays those sports😭
Dear English people who can't understand why the Scots don't support you in the World Cup. From a Scottish point of view, the English are holding Scotland prisoner in the UK, by not respecting democracy and agreeing to a referendum on Scottish independence.
Just like the AC debate, this whole red card mess really shows differences between the American & European mindset.
Americans are a solutions-oriented people. If something’s stupid or unfair, we fix it. Too hot? Install an AC. Bogus red card? Repeal it.
Europeans, on the other hand, will spend three hours bitching & whining, explaining why the stupid rule actually makes sense, why changing it would violate 200 years of tradition, and why you’re the problem for wanting to fix it.
This a civilizational difference.
🚨 Trump on the USA Red Card: “It wasn’t a foul. You want to see a game with your best players. How would you feel if we took Messi, Ronaldo or Harry Kane out?”
In case you’re wondering why the UK is the way that it is, here’s an Englishman having a fit of apoplexy that someone else in the stand has an opinion that he doesn’t like. He doesn’t understand why the authorities don’t swoop in and arrest the offending thinker.
the fact the powers that be in the Epstein files, want to remain anonymous so badly they’ve managed to bring us to the brink of world war 3, JUST so they aren’t outed for raping&eating children, is a fucking joke
🚨🗣️ DAVID BECKHAM: “I remember it was 5 a.m. in Japan, we were sleeping, and the phone wouldn’t stop ringing. Victoria told me to turn it off, that we needed to sleep."
"Then I put on my glasses and read: ‘Leo Messi has decided to come to Inter Miami.’ Just saying it gives me goosebumps. I sat up in bed and started crying. Victoria asked me what had happened, if someone had died."
"When I spoke with Jorge Más, I told him to go to the airport, that they had to be there when he got off the plane, because it could’ve been his brother, maybe we had signed his brother, haha. It’s Leo, it’s Messi, it’s the greatest footballer in history.”
hearing black people say it, in music, in every day conversation, online, in movies, on television, if a black persons nearby, chances are you’re gonna hear the word
This has made me genuinely curious about something: if you're white, and you didn't grow up in an explicitly racist household, how did you first learn about the n-word? I can't imagine there's a standard procedure for that sort of thing.
After facing backlash for her Tiktok defending Jay Z and implying that the Epstein Files aren’t a reliable source to hold people accountable, Lizzo deleted the aforementioned video.
In 2023 Lizzo was accused by 3 of her dancers of sexual harassment.
