Today Julia and Dexter came to visit for our first session of the school year and we have been learning the signs for our family . The children enjoyed singing , Playing the musical Instruments and even had a go playing with Julia’s parachute . 🌟

We had our weekly visit from Julia and Dexter for our Talk First session. The children enjoyed learning new family themed signs to support their everyday words, along with singing, dancing and playing instruments to the different songs. ⭐️

Today when Julia and Dexter came to visit we have been learning the signs for self care. The children had a fun time brushing Dexters teeth and hair . Julia also got the instruments out and we sang lots of songs . We finished the session dancing with Julia’s sparkly Pom Pom .

Today when Julia and Dexter came to visit she showed Pre School the signs for family. We sang lots of songs. The children took turns to tell Julia if they had a brother or sister 🥰

Today Julia and Dexter came to show us the signs for when we are poorly 🤒. The children all took turns to look after the baby and some also had a turn at putting a bandage on the monkey who had bumped his head . 🤕🥰

Today Julia and Dexter came to show us the signs for our home. The children enjoyed building Dexter a new house 🏠 they also enjoyed singing and shaking the instruments. Well done everyone 😁

Dexter’s theme this week was ‘meal time’.

The children in Pre School have enjoyed singing lots of songs about different foods, and enjoyed playing the instruments as they explored rhythm and rhyme.

This morning Julia and Dexter came to visit and Pre School have been learning the signs for music. Julia gave the children a challenge by giving the children four different musical instruments to play fast and slow. @JTalkfirst
