My fellow Americans,
As Charlie Kirk so eloquently told a young lady wanting to know how to become a more informed and involvedved citizen, “Courage is committing yourself to the correct course of action, regardless of the cost associated to it.”
Today, on the 24th anniversary of the horrndous attacks on our country on try September 11th, 2001, we not only remember the lives lost, but we honor the unbreakable spirit that defines our great nation.
In the shadow of tragedy, when the dust still hung heavy in the air and our hearts ached with grief, something profound stirred within us. The morning after, as the sun rose on a wounded America, we resolved to renew our love for this country with fearless displays of patriotism. Flags waved from every porch, strangers embraced as kin, and communities banded together in acts of kindness and defiance.
It was a testament to our resilience, where ordinary citizens became guardians of liberty. Some, like myself, were moved to serve in the uniformed armed forces, answering the call to protect the freedoms we hold sacred, standing shoulder to shoulder against those who sought to divide us.
And now, mere hours after the heinous political assassination of Charlie Kirk, we find ourselves at a Turning Point. Charlie, a tireless warrior for truth and conservative values, was struck down for daring to speak boldly in defense of America. Yet, just as on that September morning 24 years ago, we must rise with renewed vigor, refusing to let darkness extinguish our light.
So I pledge to you, with the utmost fervor and respect for Charlie’s legacy, my staunch recommitment to the righteous cause of America and all it holds dear: freedom, justice, and the pursuit of a more perfect union. And I ask you to join me in doing the same.
Charlie lived this every day, challenging complacency, educating the next generation, and fighting for the soul of our nation without flinching from the consequences. Let us draw inspiration from his words and actions that show the essence of true patriotism: a deliberate choice to stand for what is just, even when the stakes are high.
Through him, we saw that courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s the resolve to act rightly despite it. It’s the firefighter rushing into the towers, the Marine enlisting post-9/11, and it’s each of us honoring Charlie by engaging civically, speaking truth, and defending our ideals, no matter the personal toll.
America, let this be our morning after once more. Let us renew our patriotism, serve our communities, and commit to the course that makes us exceptional.
For the sake of the fallen of 9/11, for Charlie Kirk, and for our future countrymen, may God bless you and may God bless the United States of America.
.@ClayTravis has a blunt response to Barack Obama’s claim that he “doesn’t know” what motivated Charlie Kirk’s murder.
In just two minutes, Travis summed up what every angry American is feeling right now.
“YOU CAUSED THIS!”
“You can’t call the president of the United States Adolf Hitler for 10 years… you cannot say that anyone who voted for Trump or advocated for him like you, me, Riley, and Charlie Kirk are Nazis, and then when someone tries to kill us, suddenly say, ‘We condemn this violence.’ You caused it!”
“Look at me right now! You caused this! When you tell people that someone is Hitler, you are telling crazy people: go kill them. And I’m sick of pretending that is anything other than what they are doing. … Charlie Kirk bore the brunt of that left-wing violence.”
Absolutely disgusting and disturbing video from Charlie Kirk shooting today. Hoping for the best for him and his family. Anybody who is happy about this is a disgusting human.
These offensive issues for the Steelers seem to be cultural/philosophical.
Doesn’t matter who the Coordinator is, who the quarterback is these past 4-5 years.
The only constant in all of it is the head coach and he has to be at blame, no if an’s or buts about it.
Say his name: Mitch Lundgaard
Mitch was a firefighter who saved the life of a black man who was overdosing.
The man who he saved then pulled a gun on him and killed him. His killer was freed on $500 bail.
There are no statues honoring this man.
The Supreme Court really showed their muscle this week on multiple decisions.
As long as they stick to the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States when making these decisions there may still be hope for the future of OUR country
